Austin, TX - A young woman's life was cut short when she was fatally shot in broad daylight on November 22nd. According to Chicago police, the incident occurred at around 1:18 a.m. in the 800 block of North Waller Avenue, where two women were standing on the sidewalk.
Tragically, one of the victims, who has been identified as a 21-year-old woman, suffered fatal head and side wounds after being shot by an individual exiting a white sedan. Her companion, also 23 years old, managed to escape with less severe injuries - ankle wounds that required hospitalization.
Despite an ongoing investigation, no arrests have been made yet. The Chicago police are working tirelessly to piece together the events leading up to the shooting and bring justice to the victim's family.
